When is the best time for branding?

A question I get all the time is when’s the best time to invest in branding?

I’ve seen so many posts about this, but in my opinion, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all kinda answer to it. It’s important to consider there are lots of different types of branding packages, and every designer does things a little bit different. Knowing that is going to help you get the right answer for your unique situation.

I used to only offer a couple of different branding packages that were built for businesses ready to make a serious investment to turn their dreams into a reality. The number of bells & whistles were customized, but the foundation was similar. To REALLY move the needle in your business, form deep connections with your specific tribe, stand out and make an impact, you need a full branding package.

Well, when Covid hit, the world changed. And as a business owner, you have to know how to change with it. While the global pandemic has f*cking sucked, it also created opportunities for people to chase their dreams and start the business they always wanted to.

But these people didn’t fit into the above circumstances. Some were still figuring a lot out and so a huge investment didn’t make sense when so much could evolve and change for them still. Some were financially impacted by Covid and didn’t have the means for that kind of investment. Some were just in a unique situation where they didn’t have all the same branding needs that others had.

It was soul crushing not being able to help these people, so I made the decision to make my services more accessible and create my Mini Brand Package.

The Mini is perfect for those in the early days of their dream. While they aren’t the right fit for a full package, they still deserve a partner in crime to get them off on the right foot.
